The Monster Bawl Halloween Dance Party and Costume Competition!

The South Orange-Maplewood Adult School (SOMAS) is excited to team up with local band The Brand New Steadys to host Monster Bawl on October 24, 2026 at The Baird Center in South Orange, NJ! 

The iconic Halloween costume dance party of the year is back and will feature all of your favorite dance tunes performed live by The Brand New Steadys.

Since 2024, the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School has been the lucky beneficiary of this beloved Halloween bash! Come dance, celebrate, and support the Adult School but beware…. the competition for Best Costume is fierce! Legendary trophies, crafted by Mike Maier of MaierCreative, await the evening’s most wickedly wonderful costumes.

Join us for a night of spooky fun, lite snacks, a wine and beer open bar all night.
